Standard features included with every gChambers-built website

The cost to produce your website web can vary greatly depending upon your final requirements. It has been our experience that requirements can change greatly as project planning matures. However, please be aware that if you choose gChambers as your website development partner you’ll be starting off with great value for your marketing dollars.

The standard features of our basic site are listed below. Items that used to be expensive options from other website developers are now part of our standard website development package. This is our value proposition.

Here's a laundry list of standard features included in a typical 20-page base site:

• Initial consultation to determine website purpose and scope;desired functionality; brand compatibility etc.
  
  
• Consultation on optimizing site architecture and navigation for maximum usability
  
  
• A custom site template based on your marketing needs
  
  
• Each site features an integrated Content Management System (CMS). This means that authorized members of your company or association will have the ability to edit site content from any computer connected to the internet via the built-in editing system. No extra add-on software is required.
  
  
• Training instructions (via our online Knowledge Base) for the Content Management System (CMS)
  
  
• An integrated MySQL database.
  
  
• User registration and login to a secure "members only" area
  
  
• Web pages developed using xhtml, CSS, JavaScript and PHP functions
  
  
• Website programming code that will be cross-platform compatible all web-standards complaint web browsers such as Internet Explorer7, FireFox, Safari, and Opera. Note: we no longer support pre-IE 7 browsers
  
  
• Text and other page layout elements will be specified and controlled site-wide through the development of a comprehensive series of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
  
  
• Websites will be hosted under the terms of the gChambers, Inc Basic Web Hosting Plan ($180 annual)
